I have been an authorized guide of Campania Region since 2011 and I have also worked as an archaeologist all around the Mediterranean sea: Populonia (Livorno, Italy), Paestum (Salerno, Italy), Olbia de Provance (Hyères, Var -France), Efestia (Lemnos, Greece), Phaistos, (Crete, Greece). Since I was a child I loved history of ancient Greeks and Romans and also the Art history from the Middle Ages to the Avanguardie of the '900. I live in Salerno, a characteristic sea town located between the paradise of Amalfi Coast and the charming Cilento. I'm going to offer my knowledge in the art-historical and archaeological field for anyone who wants to understand and investigate the incredible richness of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum and the other amazing archaeological sites of Campania Region. I’m leading people to discover the secrets of ancient Greeks and Romans that already in the past they knew the incomparable beauty of this places. I collaborate with Slow Food (an international movement that strives to preserve traditional and regional cuisine and encourages farming of plants, seeds and livestock characteristic of the local ecosystem) and so I organize specific tours to those who want to discover the authentic pleasures of wine and traditional food. Hi to everyone, I'm Paolo. I'm an archaelogist and I have been working as tourist guide (license n° 1792 of the Campania Region) for several years . I was born in in the middle of the bay of Naples, by the mount Vesuvius. I have always loved history and archaeology, also because, where I live, there are the incredible excavations of Herculaneum. Since I was a child, I loved entering in Herculaneum and in Pompeii where I was amazed by the classical civilization. So I turned my passion into my work, being a licensed tourist guide. I graduated at the "L'Orientale" University in Naples obtaining a master's degree in Classical Archaeology and during my training I participated in several excavation campaigns in Pompeii and Cuma. I know very well even the city of Naples, where its historical center is Unesco Heritage, the bay of Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. It's a unique place in the world where you can breathe a magical air. It's also famous for its food, just think that the pizza Margherita was born here. I love my land rich of history and culture. “ Great Time ”

Kiroyuki was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us historical background on everything. He listened to what we were wanting to experience and made sure he provided it for us. He was very patient and considerate with my health conditions as well. He went above and beyond by helping us navigate the trains and cab. He helped us purchase train cards and download the best app to get cabs. He spoke really good English and was familiar with American customs. We had an amazing time thanks to him.

“ Fantastic Day with Sho ”

Thanks to Sho my travel companion had a great full day tour of Nagasaki. He met her at the cruise terminal and they were off on a jam packed sightseeing adventure. Sho’s English is excellent so there were no communication issues. He is a thoughtful, engaging young man who wants to ensure you have a great experience in Nagasaki. I had to miss the tour due to illness and Sho prayed for my health at one of the shrines…. how kind was that! You will not regret spending the day with Sho and a tour with him is money well spent.

“ A memorable & enjoyable first day in Tokyo ”

Toru is very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. He gave us a wonderful introduction to the history & culture of Tokyo & also the practicalities of negotiating the city.
