Fujio-San was very helpful with our group of 7 during our trip to Kanazawa. He brought us around must-visit areas and was very knowledgeable about their history. We were also very appreciative that he helped us communicate with our ryokan and restaurant reservations.

We very much liked the tutorial on how to behave in a Shinto shrine. But after that visit, there was very little exchange of information about the places we visited. Nothing said about the Higashiyama Higashi Chaya District. Our guide was more there to help us find the places than tell us about them. The choice of restaurant and the location was very poor. The restaurant was not researched and no reservation was made. We were surprised that the guide did not pick Higashiyama Higashi Chaya District for lunch instead of a fast food place downtown. Poor planning of itinerary.

But after that, unfortunately the oden restaurant I scheduled to go with your group was not open though it said it was on the internet. I had to seriously think about your preferences and special requests on meal.
