We requested a customised day tour (8 hours) because we wanted to see some of the One Piece statues, which are hard to reach with public transport. Our itinerary was: pick up at our Hotel in Kumamoto -> Sanji -> Nami -> Robin -> Mount Aso sightseeing -> Franky -> Shirakawa spring -> a different hotel (hot spring in the Mount Aso region). The booking experience was very pleasant, everything was communicated in English and we always got fast replies. Our driver, Mr. Otsuka, did not speak English, but we knew that in advance and it was no problem at all, he is very friendly. We had a lunch break after seeing Mount Aso and we arrived at our hotel basically after exactly 8 hours. So everything worked out exactly as we wanted it and we highly recommend booking a tour with Tr taxi R.

Had a great tour with her, took us to 8 out of the 10 statues, very knowledgable about the location surrounding the statues and would stop at certain places with great view for us to take a picture. She also took us to an amazing Ramen spot for lunch. Highly Recommend!

Mai-san is just the best tour guide ever!! I'm a long-time One Piece fan, and seeing these statues in person was an absolute dream of mine that Mai-san helped come true. Many of the statues are spread out far from each other, so if you're interested in seeing all of them I highly recommend doing it with Mai as your guide! She made seeing each statue quick and easy and went above and beyond in getting my group to all 10 statues in just one day, even though we were on a time crunch. On top of this, she also identified and drove us to where each statue's figure could be purchased. Not only that, but she even went out of her way to help me get Luffy's figure from the Mugiwara Store in Kumamoto as unfortunately the normal spot in the Kumamoto Prefectural Office was closed on the day we went. Aside from the statues, Mai-san is also very knowledgeable about the Kumamoto prefecture, and it was a pleasure getting to know its history while seeing some beautiful sights of the countryside. I would love to return someday to take in more of the prefecture's beauty. Moreover, it was also a pleasure meeting Mai-san and getting to know her! She is very kind and accommodating, and if you book this tour, you absolutely will not regret it! I can't recommend her enough to anyone interested in One Piece or touring Kumamoto! Mr. Otsuka was wonderful in accommodating my family and helping them find both food they wanted to eat (difficult with a picky eater and allergies) and the experiences they wanted to have. He accommodated my requests for two specific sightseeing spots and then filled the rest of the time flexibly and impeccably according to my family's requests, taking them to beautiful scenic spots and a fascinating shrine.
