This tour involves morning cycling around Himeji Castle. Himeji Castle is the most beautiful castle in Japan and Japan’s first world cultural heritage. No matter whether you have already visited there or not, you will find new faces of the castle in this cycling tour. Learn a dramatic life of Princess Sen who is still remembered by citizens as a symbol of Himeji Castle. This tour takes you to her shrine, one of the best view spots. Reflected and panoramic castle views are also memorable photo taking spots.

• Rental bicycle in Himeji (guests, 100-200JPY/person)

I guide you in Wakayama, Kumano, Koya-san and Shiga if you pay my transportation fee from Himeji.
The tour might be cancelled due to the bad weather.
• This tour involves cycling for about 2 hours. So make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
• It is my pleasure to help you plan your itinerary.
• This tour doesn’t take you inside of the Himeji Castle buildings. No entrance fee is needed.
• If the weather forecast predicts rain on the day of the tour, you can either have the tour with a different itinerary, walking around Himeji Castle for example, or you can cancel the tour and get your money back.

Noboru-san was a fantastic guide! He arranged our tour of my grandmother’s town of Aboshi, took us around the major sites, and also fit in a tour of Tatsuno castle, samurai residence, and soy sauce museum. I would love to arrange a tour with him again when we return to Himeji one day!
