Atomic Bomb Dome was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1996. Visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Cenotaph for Atomic Bomb Victims and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum to gain a deeper understanding of the suffering caused by war and nuclear weapons and the true value of peace.
Yamato Museum showcases the history of Kure from its origins with Japan's push for modernization after the Meiji Restoration - modernization built around steel and shipbuilding. The exhibits also explain the efforts and hardships experienced by the people who built the city. There is a 1:10 scale replica of the battleship 'Yamato' inside the museum as well as a real Mitsubishi Zero A6M fighter plane. On the third floor, there are ship simulators and other exhibits that let you experience and learn about the technology behind ships and shipbuilding firsthand.
Okonomiyaki is the soul food for Hiroshima residents. Consisting of flour paste cooked with onions, dried shrimps, and condiment, it was seen as a kind of snack that could be eaten casually at confectionary shops and the like around town. Only after the war did it develop into something that could be eaten as a meal. Some of the eateries have English menus available, so do go and try out the flavors.

It depends on the luggage size and the no. of passengers. The normal sedan taxi has a fuel tank in its trunk, so please be advised that the trunk is smaller than of a normal car.

During high seasons (spring and fall in Japan), all of the cars in our stock usually get reserved, so please make a reservation well before hand.
We accept your request via messages. If it is at short notice, we might charge extra fee for the arrangement.

It includes driver fee, fuel fee and tax. Parking fee, toll fee, deadhead toll fee and ferry fare are excluded, so please kindly pay by cash on site.
Deadhead toll fee is toll fee for a taxi to go to the meeting point before the tour and to return to the company garage after the tour (only if it has to take a toll road). Ferry fare means passenger fare and taxi carriage fare if the route includes ferry transportation during the tour. (passenger fare of the driver is included in the carriage fare)
Please bring the printed booking confirmation so that the driver can identify you upon meeing. If it's impossible to print it out, please take notes of reservation no., boarding date, company's name and its phone number on your memo. Or you can show the booking confirmation on your smartphone.
In the case of the hotel pick-up, please wait in the hotel lobby. The driver will come and pick you up. In the case of airport/ station pick-up, the driver will welcome you holding a board with the guest's name at the arrival/ ticket gate. If the pick-up place is not the arrival/ ticket gate, we will notify the guest in advance.
The driver will wait max. 30min if the train/ plane is being delayed. If you are running late due to personal reasons and we can't contact you within 10min of the meeting time, your reservation will be cancelled. If we can contact you, the taxi meter will run until your arrival and you will be requested to pay for the fare additionally.

In the case of sightseeing tours, the driver is supposed to give a guided tour, but it will be provided mainly by English materials such as a brochure and pamphlet due to the language limitation of the driver. In the case of airport/ station transfer and a bus tour, no tour will be offered.

If it's a foldable wheelchair, a taxi can carry it in its trunk. In the case of an electric one, availability of taxis with wheelchair lifts are limited to certain areas, so please kindly send us an inquiry.
It is usually not acceptable (depending on the taxi company), but guide/ service dogs are exempted. If you have one in your group, please leave request notes upon booking.
We had a fantastic time. Our driver arrived right on time. While his English was limited, he tried very hard, and we managed to communicate effectively anyway. We saw the places agreed and never felt rushed. We sensed a great sense of pride on his part in ensuring foreigners enjoy their time in the Hakone area. Would definitely hire him again.

We requested a customised day tour (8 hours) because we wanted to see some of the One Piece statues, which are hard to reach with public transport. Our itinerary was: pick up at our Hotel in Kumamoto -> Sanji -> Nami -> Robin -> Mount Aso sightseeing -> Franky -> Shirakawa spring -> a different hotel (hot spring in the Mount Aso region). The booking experience was very pleasant, everything was communicated in English and we always got fast replies. Our driver, Mr. Otsuka, did not speak English, but we knew that in advance and it was no problem at all, he is very friendly. We had a lunch break after seeing Mount Aso and we arrived at our hotel basically after exactly 8 hours. So everything worked out exactly as we wanted it and we highly recommend booking a tour with Tr taxi R.
