What to Expect

The world heritage registered Kumano Kodo trail is complex of several routes which lead to Kumano Hongu Taisha grand shrine, or Koya san. This Choishi michi is the only trail which you can complete in one day while others like Nakaheji, Kohechi require couple of days. So you can easily manage your entire itinerary without rejecting some of f your other interest. Also you do not need to carry heavy staffs to stay at an accomodation during the tour.

Neitherless, the trail is enough to enjoy the antient atomosphere and beautiful nature of old trail. Lots of signs of people used this trail over 1000 years, some are still clear, and some others are almost to return to nature.

Sacred Moountain Trekking at Miwa

The mountain trekking at Miwa was an amazing experince!! One I will never forget, and it was made possible by Tomoya! He was super friendly, super helpful, and super patient. He accompanied me all the way to the mountain and took as many breaks as I needed. He helped me understand the significance of the experince, as well as showed me lesser known spots for some very cool photos! If you're an english speaking foreigner, you're in good hands, he speaks english super well! If you're looking to hike Mt. Miwa while you visit Japan, please book Tomoya! You wont regret it!
